Year: Junior
Having a strong interest in math and science as well as wanting to pursue a career in medicine, I was immediately drawn to bioengineering. Since being here, I have been involved in the engineering school and the programs that it has to offer. I was a teaching assistant and camp counselor for the Women in Engineering summer program for high school girls as well as an engineering orientation advisor. In addition to being an Ambassador, I am also a Women in Engineering mentor for freshman women engineering program. This coming year, I will be the treasurer for the Biological Resources Engineering Society as well. In addition to my engineering activities, I am also in the University Honors Program, Primannum Honors Society, and National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Aside from the academics here, I am a member of Ballet Company M, which is the only ballet club on campus. I have been dancing for most of my life and love ballet. In addition, I enjoy playing tennis and the bass guitar.
