I am currently majoring in both aerospace engineering and economics. I am pursying aerospace engineering is because as a child I traveled a lot; from country to country as a consequence of my parents' job. As a result I spent an unusually large amount of time at airports. In these airports I would stick my face on the large glass panel windows and watch in awe as planes took off and landed. And I would ask myself, "How does that happen?" Years later it is still the same story. This time around I have some technical knowledge and expertise. But still I glue my face to those giant glass panels. Why? Because it is passion. No matter how mundane something is, you still cherish every moment of it because you are passionate about it. I am also majoring in economics. It is a good major because it gives you a lot more career options and is very helpful in the future if you want to pursue a managerial position, or want to invest in bonds, stocks, markets, etc.
