I have always been interested in space and building things, so majoring in aerospace engineering was an easy choice for me. As a Maryland native, I had always planned on taking a good look at College Park. After seeing the excellent engineering program here, as well as the ton of extracurricular activities available, I knew this is where I wanted to go. Over the past two years, I have been involved with the campus chapter of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and am also a member and the treasurer of the Ultimate Frisbee team on campus. This past summer, I was given the opportunity to intern at Tunnel 9, a hypersonic wind tunnel test facility where I helped test new NASA spacecraft.
