Year: Junior
For as long as I can remember, my goal has been to have a career in medicine. The summer before my senior year of high school I attended a leadership conference where I first learned of all the possible ways to accomplish this, including majoring in Bioengineering. Since coming to Maryland, I have had so many opportunities and met some amazing people through extracurricular activities. So far, I have been involved with the Biological Resources Engineering Society and the University Honors Program. I am also a member of Alpha Omega Epsilon (an international professional engineering sorority) and the Quality Enhancement Systems and Teams (QUEST) Program. Another great thing about the University of Maryland is being a Terps fan. I love going to all the football and basketball games and have been known to attend events such as field hockey games and swim meets.
