WHAT: Experience the future at Research Review Day, hosted by the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park. This event is being held to update the community on the wide range of high quality research being conducted in the mechanical engineering department and to encourage further participation by local and national leaders.

WHO: Featuring a Keynote Address from Mel Bernstein, vice president for research at the University of Maryland, and guest lectures from field leaders in energy research, biofluidics, microsystems and reliability.

WHEN: Monday, March 19, 2007, 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

  • Lab Tours: 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Lunch: Noon to 12:40 p.m.
  • Lectures: 12:40 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
