Every two weeks Engineering Student Council members, along with faculty advisors and engineering students, gather to discuss topics concerning engineering at the University of Maryland. In these General Body Meetings, ideas are created and shared to promote both the Engineering School and ESC itself. Meetings typically include discussion of ESC events, promotion of engineering society activities, and an open forum for engineering students to present ideas to the ESC. Engineering seminars and lectures occurring on campus are also announced during these biweekly gatherings. A representative from each engineering society is required to attend; all engineering students are welcome.
